UK based company Advanced Dyeing Solutions/Roaches International is delighted to announce that Simon Dakin has joined the company as Sales Manager.

From 12th October 2015, Simon will be joining the leading UK based textile equipment manufacturer Advanced Dyeing Solutions/Roaches as Sales Manager for its quality control, dyeing equipment and autoclave thermosetting products and services.

Simon has 35 years’ experience in the Textile Industry with 15 years as an International Sales Manager for textile testing and quality control companies.

Before progressing to sales positions, Simon was responsible for establishing a Quality System to ISO 9002 and setting up a laboratory for a workwear fabric supplier to the MOD whilst studying for an MSc in Textiles part time at Bolton Institute.

Managing Director, Philip Cox commented: “Simon already has a lot of experience in the market selling our type of products. We were delighted that he agreed to join us and are sure he will quickly establish himself with our global representatives and customers old and new.”

“Advanced Dyeing Solutions has a great range of UK manufactured products and is well respected in the market.  I am looking forward to joining a very enthusiastic team and contributing to the growth of the company.  This is a great opportunity for me to develop the market for these two great brands. There are many opportunities out there for ADS/Roaches and I am looking forward to the challenge,” Simon Dakin said.

Advanced Dyeing Solutions Ltd started out in 2000, acquired Roaches International in early 2008 and formed a partnership with Thies GmbH in 2009. In November 2012 the company entered into the supply of autoclaves for the thermosetting of composites and this area still continues to grow.

Roaches International machines have set the pace for over 40 years in testing performance to BS, ISO, AATCC, ASTM, DIN and JIS standards, with equipment exported from the UK to more than 100 countries.  The Roaches range can be divided into five separate categories, for sample dyeing, semi continuous/continuous dyeing, sample pilot units and quality control.
