Lingerie fabric produced on the Karl Mayer ML 35 C features
two textile zones
These are the perfect pair of panties for bringing women out
of their shell and for covering their nakedness to maximum effect.
This comfortable garment, with its elegant, discreet
styling, is suitable for every occasion, is perfect under any outfit, and can
be produced with the minimum of effort. The fabric produced on the ML 35 C
offers all these features. To produce this garment, the multibar raschel
machine works a wide, functional panel with just the right amount of lengthwise
and crosswise stretch, and processes the matching lace band as the decorative
edge at the same time. This is done seamlessly and efficiently in a single
processing step. The speed of the ML 35 C makes the entire production process
extremely economical. It operates at a high level of productivity, even when
working the dense construction in the plain section and, of course, it is
extremely creative. The soft, bi-elastic dense section is patterned with a
delicate diamond pattern, which almost seems to rise up three-dimensionally
from the fabric ground and merges into the filigree lace design at the edges.
The decorative edging consists of an attractive band
featuring stylised rosettes. The inner part of the oval shapes features a check
pattern with elliptical openings in the centre, whilst the outer contours join
onto the edge of the adjacent rosette to produce an abstract floral motif. The
design is discreet and elegant and offers plenty of scope for being creative.
The fabric can be changed quite easily by altering the pattern in the
functional zone or by changing the pattern of the lace. The styling of the
fabric also offers the lingerie sector a huge potential for making-up with a
minimum of time and effort. Any style of top, bra, bustier or panties can be
produced from the panel using just a few seams.
Lingerie manufacturers would do well to ‘put out feelers’
towards this fabric.
