Karl Mayer shows Seamless Smart at Shanghaitex

German warp knitting machine builder to show DJ 4/2 double needle-bar machine for seamless garments and hosiery in Shanghai

Shanghaitex, 12 – 15 June 2009, Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, P.R.C.

21 April 2009, Obertshausen – Leading builder of warp knitting machines Karl Mayer, will exhibit two of its warp knitting machines at this year’s Shanghaitex on stand B90 in Hall W2.

First up will be the entry level TM 2, which is already a firm favourite in the Chinese market and was introduced in 2008. It complements the TM 3 and expands the successful TM-series. As of this year, the TM 2 and TM 3 are both produced by KARL MAYER (China) Ltd.

Also on show will be Karl Mayer’s Seamless Smart machine DJ 4/2, with 44 inch working width. The double needle-bar raschel machine was introduced in Autumn 2008, and is perfect for producing hosiery and seamless garments, Karl Mayer says. The family of the DJ models, which Karl Mayer plans to expand, offers all the performance features of an innovative new development in the field of double-bar raschel machines with Jacquard, the company says.
