Interfiliere Evolution days confirms place in buying calendar

1 July 2009, Paris - Thanks to its winning format, laid-back atmosphere and a working day that remains business-focused from start to finish, this latest session of Interfilière Evolution Days was a resounding success, organisers say. Both exhibitors and visitors appreciated these aspects and welcomed its efficiency, time-saving and user friendly qualities.

The preview of September’s Interfilière has therefore confirmed its advantages and established the workshop as the ideal configuration. Buyers underlined the show’s accessibility, the ease with which they were able to organize and optimize their work, as well as the availability of exhibitors.

The profile of participants is increasingly international with 32% of visitors travelling in from abroad, as opposed to 28% in November 2008.

The calibre of buyers is also being reinforced with each new session, creating a veritable hotbed of prestigious brands:

International brands: Victoria's Secret (USA), Dressy Lingerie (Brazil), Milavitsa (Belarus), TNT Fashion (Hong Kong), Wacoal (Taiwan), Serie International (Hong Kong), Alisée (Belarus)…

Europe: Avon Cosmetics (UK), Mey Gmbh (Germany), New Foundation (Belgium), Selmark (Spain), Manufacturas Teleno (Spain), Giorgio Armani (Italy), La Perla (Italy), Der Kommissar (Netherlands), Jolidon (Romania), Prélude (Romania), Myla (UK), Lisca (Slovenia), Pop & Pink (Turkey)...

France: Barbara, Body One, Cadolle, Chantelle, Darjeeling, Comptoir des Cotonniers, DIM, Chantal Thomass, EMC Distribution Casino, Empreinte, Emphea, Érès, Etam Lingerie, Eva Rachline, Jacqueline Riu, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Julie Mechery, Kookai Lingerie, La Redoute, Le Textile Indémaillable, Leclerc, Lise Charmel, Mademoiselle Fifi, Mademoiselle Fred, Monifit, Nina Ricci, Oxbow, Playtex, Poron IKKS Lingerie, Sophie Malagola, Simone Pérèle, Implicite, Spatz, Tally Weijl, Tricotage Toulousain, Wolf lingerie, Yves-Saint-Laurent...

80% of visitors represented management, sourcing and design departments (7% more than in November 2008) and 89% of this group are responsible for purchasing decisions.

Within the core target market, 67.5% are manufacturers, 17.5% independent designers or design studios and 15% mass-market and multiple retailers.

The Winter 2010/2011 Trends conference presented by Jos Berry, Director of Concepts Paris, attracted a large audience of attentive listeners.
