Interfilière – Evolution Days

17th and 18th November 2009, Palais des Congrès, Porte Maillot, Paris

Summer 2011 Collections

30 September 2009, Paris - A firm fixture in the diaries of the industry’s key players, Interfilière Evolution Days is now a much-awaited event that kick-starts the new lingerie fabric season. Its objective is to fulfil buyers’ timing requirements, allowing them to compile their collections by offering them access to the season’s new products at a very early stage: creativity is the key priority, as well as reactivity and availability for the development of exclusive products…

Two days of intensive networking in a laid-back environment

The majority of exhibitors and buyers organize their meetings schedule with clients and suppliers ahead of the show. The advantage of this targeted event lies in its capacity to adapt to the requirements of exhibitors and visitors which evolve from one session to the next: following last June’s very busy session, manufacturers were keen to restore the two-day format to offer a more effective response to the number of buyers. On the buying side, participants expressed a desire to prolong meetings with the companies present.

Exhibitors: creativity, reactivity, availability

The 40 exhibitors expected represent a selection of the sector’s most creative companies. Specializing in fabrics for intimates, loungewear and beachwear, they also inspire stylists from ready-to-wear brands, Designers and Couture professionals. A number of exhibitors who develop mixed collections can thus take advantage of this early opportunity to initiate projects with these brands and labels.

Representing all of Interfilière’s usual sectors, the show offers an impressive diversity of products: embroidery, lace, knits, wovens, prints, accessories and haberdashery. The following companies have pre-registered so far:

Germany : Chanty Lace, Handel & Diller, Penn Elastic, Taubert Textil…

Austria : Gabler Band, Isco - Isidor Scheffknecht, Willy Hermann…

China : Nanjing Reyping Textile …

France : Andre Avio, Broderies Deschamps, Desseilles International,

Jean Bracq, Papillon Ribbon & Bow, Rocle by Isabella, Seram…

Italy : Eurostick, Eusebio, Iluna Group, Miroglio …

Latvia : Lauma Fabrics …

Switzerland : Bischoff Textil, Forster-Rohner …

Thailand : Takeda Lace Group...

Buyers: Leading brands will be there

The calibre of visitors is confirmed with each new session since Interfilière Evolution Days plays host to the leading international lingerie brands, 80% are represented by their management, sourcing or design teams with 89% responsible for sourcing decisions (June 2009 figures).

Fashion information: now a must-see feature, the Summer 2011 Trends conference led by Jos Berry, Director of Concepts Paris, will take place on November 17th at 3.00pm. The Evolution guide (and its colour range), sent out to Interfilière exhibitors in September and updated in October, will be available for purchase at Interfilière Evolution Days.

On November 18th, exhibitors and visitors will be invited to “Lunch Time”, a relaxed meal designed to further two key objectives in the Interfilière Evolution Days concept: strengthening links and fostering networking.
