Stoll China Trend Collection AW 2010/2011
The AW 2010/2011 collection transforms the idea of the ‘line’ into knitwear. This graphic theme runs through the collection like a pencil moving on a sheet of paper. Natural organic lines to wood grain as well as graffiti tags and monograms are realized by twisted structures, torsion effects and wrapped technical details. Extreme coarse optics find their counterpart in fine gauges. Supported by dissolving yarn, an additional volume effect has been achieved and interesting surfaces evolve when a logo ismelted into the structures. Double face patterns with contrasting sides create a new variety for knitted garments. A subtler colour range, including a soft nude tone, a faded green and a coffee brown. Go along with classic black and crème: grey mélange in different shades are important neutralizing colours. Delicate merino qualities are combined with coarse wool and an alpaca blend.
