Pai Lung acquires Vanguard Supreme

6 November 2009, Taipei – Taiwanese circular knitting machine builder Pail Lung Machinery Mill Co. Ltd., announced yesterday that it lead a consortium which has acquired Vanguard Supreme Machine Company of Monroe, North Carolina. The company will continue to produce machines and maintain their offices and factory in Monroe.

The combined companies will operate under the name Vanguard Pai Lung, LLC, under the joint partnership of Mr. James Wang, Mr. Bill Moody and Mr. Leo Yates.  “Together, we will be uniquely positioned to provide the world's finest textile machinery,” a spokesperson for the new company said. The company plans to continue building Vanguard Supreme’s well known range of high speed circular knitting machines, as well as manufacturing Pai Lung’s fashion and home textiles circular machines.

Vanguard Pai Lund says the deal will benefit its customers by offering them a greater range of products, provide better support worldwide and ensure next generation technology from financially sound company with long term growth potential. The new company plans to broaden its product range to meet the needs of its customers in the Americas. Internally the deal is expected to enhance the overall machinery offer by integrating R&D, production and sales and marketing. The compny also says that the synergy created will also enhance future product performance and result in better products and services to enhance its customers competitiveness.

“Our goal is to deliver high quality products and service that will include new Vanguard and Pai Lung circular knitting machines, new and rebuilt flat machines and rebuilt and used circular knitting machines,” Vanguard Pai Lung says. The company will also carry an extensive line of replacement parts and provide technical service.
