Karl Mayer to present at VDMA Roadshow India

Weft laying system of the new Malitronic MULTIAXIAL22 December 2009, Obertshausen – Warp knitting machine builder Karl Mayer is to present at the next ‘German textile technology for technical textiles India’ road show, which is planned for March 2010 (8 and 9 March in New Delhi and 12 March in Mumbai) . The event is being organized and presented by Germany’s machinery association, the VDMA in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and will comprise around 16 technological reports presented by members.

One of these will be Karl Mayer the renowned Obertshausen based machinery manufacturer who will be showing the Indian industry its latest developments. Karl Mayer’s Saxon subsidiary Karl Mayer Malimo will report on knitting solutions for the production of composites, and advertising media. Here attention will focus on the Malitronic Multiaxial. These discourses will be supplemented by the presentation of selected means for the efficient production of technical and semi-technical textiles from the parent company.

Here particular attention will be paid to current developments in the following sectors: end-contour-near seat constructions, warp-knitted spacer fabrics in lightweight structures, seats, nets and means for protection against the sun in cars, fish farming, mosquito, safety and packaging nets, and agricultural nets.
