Upgrade benefits
Benefits of the S296-2 upgrade include advanced central and
individual stitch adjustment with greater precision, which enhances accurate
stitch adjustment, a completely re-engineered knitting head with convertible
low cost new cylinder needle. The redesigned knitting head also includes positive
needle guidance in cam profiles where needles are guided smoothly for less wear
and tear and for higher machine speeds. The S296-2 also incorporates new wear
resistant zirconium yarn carriers with Spandex rollers for improved plating and
for preventing fluff accumulation.
Terrot says the S296-2 offers outstanding flexibility and
efficiency in production whilst processing a wide range of yarns, different
fabric weights and structures including Spandex plating. The machine is also
customer proven for processing both cotton and synthetic yarns at the highest
performance levels, the company adds.
