21 July 2010, Paris - The creora by Hyosung collection of
fibres will focus on the Intimate Apparel market with three 2012 trends at
Interfiliere/Paris Mode City: Perfection, Nurture and Retro Fit.
Perfection
Second skin fabrics embrace the body, perfect in
constructions with high performance through the power of creora
spandex/elastane yarns. The mood of this direction incorporates matte and clean
finishes with gloss to project a futuristic look. Featherweight fabrics get
lighter and more compact in their knit construction, up to 50 gauge knit,
without losing the performance that creora offers.
Clean cut technology, bonded seams, ultra flat selvedge
fabrics and laser cutting offer a clean and precise flawless finish. Look to
ultra smooth surfaces from gloss finishes to paper touch stretch and support
with a diaphanous finish. The mood is
pure perfection in appearance but also in fit.
The reduction in CMT with today’s modern technology combined
with the consumers’ interest in lighter shapewear and the perfect fit for daily
intimate apparel drives this textile direction.
Perfection highlights creora H-350 for high compression
knits with compact matte, glossy and pearlized surface warp and circular looks.
Creora eco H-550 adds
stretch and sustainability for clean cut edges, while creora black adds depth
to dark colours and reduced grin through. MIPAN fine dull, bright and sparkling
lusters for matte and papery to lucid and glossy looks in lightweight sheer knits.
New MIPAN micro fine and silky polyester for ethereal second skin vapory
fabrics.

Retro Fit
Modern fabrics packed with power embrace the female form as
a desire for the glamour of the 1950s continues for shapewear and lingerie. The
retro influenced fabrics have the look with enhanced softness combined with
control from the inclusion of creora spandex/elastane fibres. Black dominates
with intense matt, satin and high gloss fabrics enhanced with creora black.
Also important is the fresh aspect of pure white and cosmetic tones in sparkling
forms highlighting a synthetic content that is set to shine. The core of this
inspiration stretches the scale from the darker side of 1950s burlesque to the
moody aspects of the era’s film noir for dark and seductive elements. The
frisson of this era also encourages a brighter aspect, with sharp sherbet tones
injecting a softer feminine delivery in glossy and sugary aspects. The appeal
of this direction is that it looks synthetic, shiny and new, real glamour with
a retro twist as softness and stretch to embrace the body.
Retro Fit embraces warp knit tri-lobal satins with enhanced
surface lustre and power stretch with creora performance H-350 for engineered
power and high compression for body shaping at all levels from low to high
control. Virgin white and retro cosmetic
tones will be enhanced with creora eco H-550 for whiter whites and reduced
yellowing while creora black for best selling intense black tones and reduced
grin through. MIPAN fine offers a sheer and transparent effect in semi dull,
bright or for a more modern direction, a sparkling lustre to both warp and
circular knits.

Nostalgic – Sexy – Playful
Retro Fit Garment: Big Briefs & Seamless Bras – Zoned Control Panels – Streamlined Sexy Shapewear

Nurture
With ecological aspects impacting consumers’ daily lives,
Nuture is a core inspiration for intimate apparel. Less energy intensive
fabrics will lead to a greener future and this is where creora eco H-550
completes the story in blends with natural fibres and also the new generation
of sustainable fibres. As regular cotton is improved in keeping with a greener
image while organic cotton offers a premium option, the king of natural fibres
features in featherweight circular knits.
Other fibres include seaweed, wood, Lyocell, soya and bamboo
viscose. But it is recycled synthetics that hold this direction, offering the
benefits of microfiber performance. Both natural and synthetic yarns are
offered in very fine counts enabling a soft direction for seamless and circular
knits, so these fabrics can embrace the body. With nature the core of this
direction, it doesn’t just influence the fibre content but also transpires
through to the fabric appearance. From raw and dry hand feels to nature’s
glossy aspects, contrasting finishes feature.
creora eco H-550, offers stretch and environmentally
friendly aspects to sustainable fibres - mercerized cotton, long staple
Egyptian and pima cotton in fine counts, viscose can be used dull or bright for
its softness and fluidity, Tencel and Micro Modal and Micro Modal AIR for
enhanced softness against the skin and strong sustainable aspects when blended
with creora eco H-550. creora black for intense black tones, heathered effects
when teamed with lighter colourways and yarn dyed stripes. MIPAN regen and
regen recycled nylon & polyester yarns for performance and sustainability.
To demonstrate the Nurture direction, Yong Jeon, an
innovative creora partner, has a new collection of lightweight fabrics
100-145g/m² using 80’s and 100’s cotton and Tencel with creora H550 which are
soft and sensual to touch.
