Controlbody shapewear from Norman + creora is ‘perfect’ for today’s fashion

Controldody shapewear29 July 2010, Castel Gofreddo - As ready-to-wear fashion becomes more and more body hugging, with tailored t-shirts, slim skirts and skinny jeans and leggings, Italy’s Norman Group, a specialist in seamless wear,  has created what it calls the perfect collection of Seamless shapewear made with creora H-350 elastane.  The Controlbody collection, made in Italy, is designed to coincide with current fashion trends and to help the wearer look their best with a wide range of shapewear styles to smooth and shape the silhouette.

Norman says that Controlbody is a collection that has innovative designs and seamless technology to improve the appearance of target areas such as the stomach, waist, back, hips, or bottom for improved shape. The garments use light weight yarns in polyamide and 40 denier creora H-350 and aim to provide the best combination of comfort and compression with freedom of movement. They also feature an anti-bacterial gusset.

Controldody shapewearControldody is available in four different styles. Basic is described as a gentle embrace and comfortable feeling for daily wear, invisible under clothing. Plus is said to have increased compression designed to shape and sculpt the body to satisfy the highest female expectations, whilst Gold garments are elegant jacquard panelled and scalloped edged with new silicon band, a new innovation which guarantees firm adhesion to the body for complete freedom of movement. Finally, Active is a double action shaper which combines compression for shaping with the regenerative treatment effects of Aloe, vitamin E and Caffeine for a slimmer-line and reduced-look silhouette.

The Norman Group, headquartered in Castel Gofreddo, Mantova, specializes in seamless wear markets and invests in the latest technology and research and development as well as in creativity. The company has eleven production and commercial sites across Europe, seven of which are in Italy, two in Spain and one in each of Hungary, Romania and Serbia. Seamless knitting, on a plant of more Controlbody shapewearthan 100 Santoni SM-8 Top1 and SM-8 Top2 machines, takes place in Italy, while garments are made-up in Serbia, Hungary and Romania. The group also has its own dyeing and finishing facility.

Norman, which was founded in 1999 produces underwear, outerwear and fitness clothing for men, women and children in microfiber and cotton yarns and aims to produce garments which are ‘special to the fit with exceptional stretch. Luxury microfiber yarns from Fulgar and Meryl are just some of the yarns used. The Company has two main brands, Intimidea, which focuses on wholesale markets and US Colour which is dedicated to retail markets. Norman also sees itself as an ideal partner for private label collections.
