Cariaggi Spring-Summer 2015 collection is based on the concept of "essence", as the purest, truest and fundamental part of everything. Applied to cashmere, the idea of essence immediately leads to other concepts: elegance, preciousness, purity. A refined simplicity that only the finest properties have and that comes from great abilities in terms of creativity, style, craftsmanship and production.

The colour palette chosen to present the collection ranges from soft shades that recall nature, the sky and sea, and pebbles at the water’s edge. Colours that convey serenity, calm and peacefulness, that remind one of days out with the family and afternoons spent at the beach, surrounded by peace and quiet.  

In its SS15 collection, in order to emphasise the intrinsic qualities of the most precious fibre to the full, Cariaggi presents new shades that range from natural white – the colour of cashmere – to various hues of grey, obtained without using optical whiteners. The company has made significant investments in research to allow new processing techniques to be developed that deliver the best shade of white, maintaining its colourfastness as far as is possible and limiting its tendency to fade under light. The new colours are available in Cariaggi’s bestselling yarns: Jaipur, Soffio and Antilope.

The search for the essence also led to a revision of the System Natvrae line, Cariaggi’s eco-friendly yarns the colours of which are obtained from herbs, flowers, leaves, berries and roots of officinal plants. It’s the true, slow dyeing, a technique from the past that it’s now modern and technological, able to transfer on cashmere - the most prestigious fiber by definition - the true essence of nature, that offers the most beautiful, real and authentic colours. Systema Natvrae line has been redesigned in order to offer an even more valuable product, whose exclusivity is guaranteed by the fact that each dye produces a unique and inimitable colour. The available colours were selected , with an additional effort in terms of research, in order to respond even more promptly to customer’s needs.

Lastly, as far as lighter and more summery yarns are concerned, Cariaggi has developed its unusual Belize Silk combination for SS15: exclusive cotton from a small plantation on the coast of Belize combined with precious silk, which is available in two versions, a fuller-bodied 2x2 120 and an ultralight 2/120.
