Epson UK has appointed Adelco, DTG Solutions, i-Sub and RA Smart as authorised resellers for its new SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-garment desktop printer.

The easy-to-use SureColor SC-F2000 is fully designed and built by Epson to deliver maximum quality, productivity, flexibility and total reliability - alongside low running and maintenance costs, the company reports.

Market coverage

Designed to print directly onto t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, bags and hats, the SureColor SC-F2000 is said to be a powerful production printer for both professional garment print companies and a variety of high street retail outlets looking to add an additional revenue stream to their businesses.

“There is considerable pent-up demand for a reliable, high-quality direct-to-garment printer and the Epson SureColor SC-F2000 ticks all the boxes,” commented Phil McMullin, Sales Manager, Professional Imaging, Epson UK.

“These four UK resellers are leaders in their fields and between them they provide 360 degree coverage of the market. In addition to their considerable experience of the professional textile printing market, Adelco, i-Sub and RA Smart supply a range of complimentary products, specialist training and support.  Alternatively, high-street quick print and photo outlets will be served by DTG Solutions, a company with a successful record in this sector.”

Complete design solution

The SureColor SC-F2000 printer uses Epson UltraChrome DG ink with white, a new garment ink formulated specifically for the new Epson PrecisionCore TFP printhead. As a result, the printer can produce text and images with a wide colour gamut and smooth colour gradations. In its fastest print mode – dual CMYK – the SureColor SC-F2000 prints a t-shirt in 27 seconds, the company reports.

The Epson SureColor SC-F2000 is available in two models: the Standard high-speed CMYK-only printer and the CMYK+White model which is said to offer the added benefit of white ink for printing on dark or colour fabrics.
