Learn more about colour

The Society of Dyers and Colourists have arranged three individual stand alone training courses which provide a practical introduction to three different areas with colour and textiles. These courses are ideal for people such as design graduates who are now working for themselves or a retailer. They are designed to increase confidence and understanding when dealing with the supply chain.

Colour Management

What do you need to discuss your colour requirements more effectively with your suppliers both verbally and electronically?

How can you save 2-4 weeks in the development process by using electronic methods to accurately communicate colour?

ISO Colour Fastness

There are 16 different test methods within the standard for wash fastness, which one should you specify for your products?

What should you consider when deciding if a product is commercially acceptable?

Coloration – Fibres to Coloured Fabrics

Do you know what your dyer is doing and why?

Do you consider the environmental impact of your choices for the wet processing of textiles?

Course dates are 5th, 11th and 12th of February 2013. For further information please follow this link and click on the course title or contact Alex Foster at [email protected]  or phone 01274 761773
