Exactly half way between ITMA 2011 in Barcelona and ITMA 2015 in Milan, leading warp knitting machine builder Karl Mayer will be presenting its latest machine developments during two open house event to be held simultaneously on 25th September 2013.

Karl Mayer premiered its new TM 4 at last week’s Shanghaitex exhibition, announcing that the new machine will be built by its Karl Mayer (China) subsidiary in Changzhou City.

China’s Yiwu International Exhibition on Hosiery, Knitting, Dyeing And Finishing Machinery (Yiwu Knitting) will now run concurrently with Zhejiang Government’s Yiwu International Manufacturing Equipment Expo starting this year, as China’s knitting sector continues to grow in importance.

In this article, SPINEXPO, the show for ready-to-wear brand manufacturers with collections of flat-bed and circular knits, wovens, hosiery and new warp seamless knits, focuses on sustainability in textiles and apparel supply chains and previews its forthcoming New York (16-18 July) edition. Leading computerized knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki of Wakayama, Japan has announced it will exhibit at ITM Texpo Eurasia 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey, which takes place from 29th May to 1st June.

The Source it procurement platform at Texprocess 2013 in Frankfurt am Main from 10 to 13 June offers a comprehensive overview of the world’s most important sourcing regions. For the first time this year, the focus of Source it is on national presentations with selected manufacturing companies and among the countries and regions represented will be Egypt, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Senegal, South America and Vietnam.

German circular knitting machine builder Terrot will be present at this summer’s Shanghaitex exhibition were it will exhibit along with its partner Terrot Hongkong Ltd from 10-13 June. The well established show is highly instrumental in promoting the upgrading and transformation of China’s textiles and clothing industry.

Karl Mayer will be exhibiting at this year’s ITM Texpo Eurasia 2013, which takes place from 29 May-1 June in Istanbul. The world leader in warp knitting machinery and warp preparation units will have an ML 46 machine on its exhibition stand and will demonstrate the advantages of the latest generation electronic multibar Raschel machine.

Its official - the next edition of Techtextil will be bigger than ever before. According to organiser Mess Frankfurt, the number of exhibitor registrations for the trade fair, which will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 11 to 13 June 2013, is already significantly higher than at the comparable time two years ago.

Leading computerized flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd. of Wakayama, Japan celebrated its 50th Anniversary on February 4th, 2012 and in November, the company held a gala celebration with over 1400 customers and 1300 employees over a 3-day period.
