At the exhibition the company will for the first time present its new development ROICA Eco Smart, a new stretch format designed for a wide range of customer needs, which represents new and responsible Advanced Fit for Living concept.

On display

Also on display are the new Cupro innovations that take refinement to another level, with extra fine count yarns creating unique and precious supernatural touch fabrics with a new range of fluid fabrics for lightweight nightwear as well as for fine, natural touch summer hosiery, the company reports.

Other products exhibited at Interfilière include new warp knit constructions for contemporary body suits with matching lace and tapes using ROICA Perfection; a Yoga Wear collection using ROICA Soft Response; the high quality, dye-to-match function of ROICA Colour Perfect for legwear, hosiery, lingerie and outerwear categories; as well as cut and sew jersey wear, for sport and casual lifestyle brands, with ROICA Reflex stretch for knitted fabrics.

ROICA innovative yarn

ROICA Eco-Smart is an eco-friendly, stretch yarn with clear and certified environmental benefits that’s blended into many of this season’s new collections, according to the manufacturer. The production of this yarn uses more than 50% pre-production industrial waste material and is designed responsibly and ethically for customers looking to bring contemporary stretch to their own more sustainable product lines.

The new ROICA Fabric Gallery presented at Interfilière will offer a full range of single and double knit circular jersey fabrics, warp knits and raschel constructions, specially designed using the complete family of ROICA Advanced Fit for Living yarns, as well as the qualities of Cupro cellulose fibre.

Featured in the ROICA Fabric Gallery is Tessitura Colombo, with the launch of its Ecolace collection using ROICA Eco-Smart, as well as its main line lace collection made with ROICA Perfection. Another company, Sitip, developed many of its specially targeted functional ranges, including Microsense, 2DRY, BE-HOT, Eclipse, Cosmopolitan and Nature, using the high performance ROICA yarns.

PIave Maitex utilized ROICA Perfection for its raschel, warp knit and shapewear innovations. The innovative yarn can also be found in the latest products of Inplet, Iluna, Cantù, Eusebio, Penn Textile Solution, Taubert, and more.

Extra High Impact Sports Bra

The company has recently concluded a joint three year long project with the leading global retailer Marks & Spencer, inspired by market analysis that revealed an overlooked category in women’s lingerie: effective and stylish active performance products for the curvier silhouette woman.

By combining M&S ‘market know-how’ with Asahi Kasei technology, the company designed a performing sport bra, which uses the best ROICA Advanced Stretch science and features breathable fabrics for ultimate comfort, under wire to give great shape, reinforced paneling around the cup, and high underarm cover for the bounce control. The inner cup is moulded and is seam free to help prevent chaffing during strenuous exercise.

“A sports bra is a really important purchase and it is essential you get the right fit, support and comfort. We have carried out various studies with leading UK universities and most recently with the scientists at the Asahi A-Cubic research centre in Japan. Working with them we used cutting edge computer technology to create a new way of looking at breast movement and bra fit. We used this technology to achieve the maximum in comfort and support,” said Paschal Little, Head of Innovation and Quality.
