Groz-Beckert to present solutions at Garment Technology Expo 2015

Groz-Beckert, the leading provider of industrial machine needles, will present its latest developments for sewing machine needles at the Garment Technology Expo (GTE) that is due to be held from 28 February to 3 March in New Delhi, India.

The GTE is regarded as India’s most important exhibition for apparel and knitting technology, with the focus on machines for clothing manufacture, accessories and services.

SEWING plan

The central topic of Groz-Beckert at the trade fair is SEWING, which refers to the company's comprehensive service plan, which supports the sewing industry in mastering the challenges in the market.

The plan involves the outstanding product quality and ever more elaborate designs, as well as the sustainable productivity and efficiency increases.

The five S of SEWING stand for Supply, Solutions, Service, Superiority, and Sustainability. Superiority, for example, in the view of Groz-Beckert, comprises certified top quality, specialist products, and the application of modern technology.

Label scanner

When it comes to quality, even the product packaging can make a real difference. The Groz-Beckert packaging enables needles to be transported and stored securely, the company reports. As an additional service for customers the packaging label also bears a data matrix code that serves to verify its original product status.

The tool needed for this, the newly developed label scanner, is available as part of the myGrozBeckert app. This app is available for Android and iOS and can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
