Hyosung, the world’s largest producer of spandex, has announced a new brand campaign to promote its newest sub-brands for specialty products in the creora spandex range.

The latest creora specialty fibres were developed to enhance the fit and performance of fabrics as macro trends for colour, compression, shaping and lighter weights continue:

  • creora Color+ dyeable spandex for deeper darker colours and better colourfastness
  • creora eco-soft low heat settable spandex for finer, lighter, ‘drapier’ fabrics
  • creora Black for increased power without grin through
  • creora highclo super chlorine resistant spandex

The objective of the new branding and promotion is to position creora as the preeminent spandex supplier in the world. Hyosung wants to be recognized for delivering the best quality, consistency, value, innovation, technical and customer service in all spandex applications.

“Hyosung plans to continue to find new ways to serve customers’ needs. We will launch new trends for 2016 and host global workshops to help global customers to develop innovative fabrics for their businesses,” said Hyosung’s Spandex Director, President Whang.

Hyosung has just celebrated 21 years in the spandex business and in that time, has invested hundreds of millions of dollars to build plants in Korea, Turkey, Vietnam, Brazil, and China. The state of the art, proprietary technology developed by Hyosung is optimized and enhanced through technical service centres equipped with its own knitting, covering, core spinning, dyeing and finishing equipment.
