Karl Mayer, the leading warp knitting machinery manufacturer, will be showcasing its latest innovations, expertise and ideas at the upcoming ITMA 2015 exhibition for textile machinery that is set to take place from 12-19 November in Milan.

The company is aiming to show seven new warp knitting machines, as well as new warp-knitted textiles, ideas for the after-sales sector and innovative warp preparation solutions – all under the company’s motto of We care about your future.

“All our innovative customers worldwide have said that they intend to visit our stand,” commented Oliver Mathews, the Sales Director of Karl Mayer’s Warp Knitting Business Unit, who is looking forward to a successful ITMA 2015.

Attention-grabbing platform

The leading international textile machinery fair is an attention-grabbing platform for unveiling the latest innovations, a barometer for the success of new developments, and one of the most important international meeting point for the industry. In keeping with the Zeitgeist and committed to the requirements of forward-looking production, the motto of this huge machine show is Source Sustainable Solutions.

ITMA 2015 will showcase the latest machine technology and services that take into account the aspects of environmental protection and social responsibility, and apply them to the entire textiles and clothing production chain.

Roughly 1,500 exhibitors from more than 40 countries will be showing their products and organisers expect that more than 100,000 visitors from 140 countries will attend.

Knowledge exchange

As well as innovative technical solutions for the value-added textile chain, this year’s ITMA will also offer the opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas in a series of special events.

The second World Textile Summit will be held on 13 November. The following day, leading colourants and chemicals producers will invite people to attend a forum, and the nonwovens sector is to meet on 16 November to exchange information and ideas.

The Research and Innovation Pavilion will also present an overview of research being carried out in the textile and clothing industries. Here, renowned research and educational institutions will be showcasing their research facilities, potential for innovation and technological capabilities, which should all provide new impetus to the industry.

Latest innovations

“Our visitors can expect some technical systems that will definitely give them the edge in their business fields. Our exhibits will highlight our company as a supplier of solutions of maximum benefit to our customers and emphasise our position as a market and technology leader,” commented Oliver Mathews.

Oliver Mathews and his team of sales managers and textile specialists are looking forward to having some interesting conversations with their global business partners. These dialogues should consolidate their knowledge of trends and market requirements, enable them to present their company’s innovative products and services, and work with their visitors to develop new solutions in their business fields, the company reports.
