Première Vision, a leading and recognised show organiser for international fashion professionals, has undergone significant changes over the past few years, representing an ensemble of unique events to discover, throughout the world and throughout the year.

In September, Première Vision announced a major strategic change – starting with the coming February 2015 edition of this seminal event for international fashion players, Première Vision Pluriel, the organiser, will unveil a new brand policy based on the Première Vision name.

Première Vision incorporates 32 trade fairs a year that take place in seven countries, welcoming nearly 6,400 exhibitors, each chosen by selection committees.

The shows attract nearly 180,000 visitors coming from around the world: buyers, designers, designers for fashion and accessory brands, heads of international fashion companies to learn about the latest creative offers that feature yarns and fibres, fabrics, designs, accessories, leather and furs, and manufacturing.

Big new step

In line with its international shows – Première Vision New York, Sao Paulo, Istanbul and Shanghai – all six Paris shows will now become Première Vision Paris, the global event for fashion industry professionals.

Additionally, the Première Vision brand name will be appended to the specific business specialty defined for each of the six shows:

  • Expofil becomes Première Vision Yarns (the show of yarns and fibres);
  • Première Vision becomes Première Vision Fabrics (the world's premier fabric show);
  • Cuir à Paris becomes Première Vision Leather (the show for experts in leather and fur);
  • Indigo becomes Première Vision Designs (the show for textile design and creation);
  • Modamont becomes Première Vision Accessories (the international show of accessories and components for fashion and design);
  • ZOOM becomes Première Vision Manufacturing (the show specialised in fashion manufacturing).

Unique and complementary offer

These changes are part of the organiser’s efforts to strengthen the unique and complementary offer proposed by each of the six shows, which will become more coherent and effective while benefitting, as a whole, from the reputation, image, global power and influence of the Première Vision brand.

The brand policy is not going to affect the future of Knitwear Solutions, the platform inside Première Vision dedicated to creative flatbed knits, as it is not a separate show. According to organisers, it will be maintained and developed in the future editions of the show.
