Abstract of WO2008018185

A movable sinker and weft knitting machine, manufacturable at low cost even when a torque spring part is formed integrally with a sinker part, having no variation in the shape etc. of individual sinkers, and having a reduced manufacturing and working time. The torque spring part (13) is extended in the direction opposite to the arm part (12b) from an intermediate part between a support part (12a) and an arm part (12b) of the sinker part (12) of the movable sinker (11). A bypass part (13b) bypassing a virtual circle center (4c) is formed on the inner peripheral side of the support part (12a) so as to be continuous with an extension part (13a). A loose end part (13c) in parallel with the extension part (13a) is formed continuously with the bypass part (13b). A radially outwardly projection part (13d) is formed between the bypass part (13b) and the loose play part (13c) to increase the length of the torque spring part. By increasing the length of the torque spring part, a satisfactory relation between a displacement amount and a load can be provided even when it is manufactured by punching with a press working machine.
