Sock Knitting - Single Cylinder
Italian sock knitting machine builder Rumi raised a few eyebrows when it decided to host its own private exhibition in a Brescia last month instead of exhibiting at the well attended FIMAST (International Textile Machinery and Accessories Trade Show) which was held from 26-29 September.
One of the busiest stands at last month’s FIMAST (International Textile Machinery and Accessories Trade Show) in Brescia was that of local sock machine builder Busi Giovanni. The family owned company is known for its innovations and machines which allow its customers to enter niche markets, and it did not disappoint at FIMAST.
Lonati, world leading machine builder for single and double cylinder hosiery machines for men's, women's and children's socks and pantyhose, will be exhibiting brand new machine ranges at ITMA 2011 this September.
The Italian hosiery machinery giant, which is currently producing around 1600 machines per month, will to show its GL series single cylinder machines for men's and children's socks, the LA series for pantyhose and a new

housing shin guards. The news came to the company’s Managing Director Dr. Gianmario
Busi, in a letter from the President of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio
(F.I.G.C), the
