The new pavilion will showcase a digital presentation and workshop/ seminar about knitwear shape and fabric direction for SS 2014 showing inspiration, catwalk trends and new emerging market trends.

The pavilion is dedicated to the leading manufacturers and designers of knitwear and will present Spinexpo’s new stand concept with an emphasis on style and fashion.

Show owner and organiser Karine van Tassel told Knitting Industry today:

“We have had many exhibitors registering for Knitwear in the past sessions, because of lack of sophisticated exhibitions targeting knitwear.  We realized that we did not give them enough visibility, and in addition, many of our most important groups exhibiting have spinning and knitwear companies, and need to be more focused on what they exhibit.”

“With China going more expensive, they have to develop style and fashion more to be competitive, and many European based companies are also looking for a platform where they can show their skill.”

“Spinexpo is a respected platform for fibre and yarn manufacturers, welcoming an international visitorship who are both sourcing for fibres and knitwear.”

Karine concluded: “So we decided to give a specific identity to knitwear manufacturers, some of them already major exhibitors of the spinning field.  We plan to be very “Spinexpo”, go slowly and selectively.  We should have a Pavilion of around 200 square metres and 12/15 companies for the first session.
