Meeting market needs

Through constant accumulation and improvement, organisers of Yiwu Knitting 2013 and Yiwu Sewing 2013 say they have shaped a professional buyer databaseand have been also making efforts to identify new buyers and visitors.

Yu Hui, Engineering Equipment Manager of Zhejiang Manzi Hosiery, said: “We organise 8-10 relevant staff to visit Yiwu Knitting every year. 2012/2013 is a year when we got the lowest product margin for the entire industry. Instead of reducing resources, we intensified our internal restructuring and focused on upgrading our equipment, including automatic equipment such as subsequent packaging and labelling equipment.”

Breaking the ice for the industry

Despite the uncertain situation of the industry this year, Yiwu Knitting 2013 and Yiwu Sewing 2013 say that they made the best of their experience to create a 'best-in-class knitting and automatic garment machinery trading platform' to help enterprises.

Like previous editions, many exhibitors actively took part in the 2013 shows, which won an affirmation for their professional features and business opportunities. Many exhibitors, such as Santoni - Italy, Chemtax Industrial - Hong Kong, O2Micro - Taiwan, Ningbo Cixing, Hengtong, Taoling and Ruiyang, are said to have received many orders and customer inquiries at the exhibition.

Xu Yun, General Manager of Shaoxing Herun Machinery Manufacture, explained: “This is our third time to participate in this exhibition. There is a five-year cycle for hosiery industry. Now, we are at the bottom of the recession. Despite overall gloomy environment this year, we are satisfied with the visitor flow and overall result of the exhibition.”
