After years of experience, studies, continuous development and technical improvements in advanced polyester fibres, Advansa introduced its ‘Duoregulation’ fibre technology Advansa ThermoCool to the market in 2008 at Ispo BrandNew.

According to Advansa, dedicating time, investment and listening to the market’s demands resulted in producing this innovative fibre that combines functionality with enhanced comfort. Advansa ThermoCool has been designed to ensure outstanding quality and performance, offering Duoregulation properties - evaporative cooling or thermo buffering in a wider range of temperatures and in accordance to the needs of the wearer.

Now five years later, being again at the world’s largest start-up competition in the sporting goods industry - at ISPO BrandNew presented by Advansa ThermoCool – Advansa brought together its multipurpose fibre technology in fabrics and garment collections, designed by well-known brands.

Advansa says that all of the fabrics textiles exhibited found wide appeal thanks to their design, functionality and quality, incorporating the superior Duoregulation technology Advansa ThermoCool.

“Brands are looking for launching added-value products and hence are tracking for highly advanced fibres to get these into their production. We are very pleased to see many of them converting their ranges to products with Duoregulation properties that we guarantee with Advansa ThermoCool. More and more, leading brands trust in Advansa ThermoCool and have this technology in their collections for its performance” commented Silvia Toledo – Marketing Manager of Advansa.

According to Advansa, well-known names for functional sports fashion like Alpine Pro, adidas and TAO,  continue to have Advansa ThermoCool in their lines due to the thermoregulation properties and unique softness; combining functionality and comfort in one yarn, to offer maximum well-being by balancing temperature changes helping to conserve energy levels and improve wellness, while keeping the wearer in their comfort zone.

“Breathability, outstanding moisture management, thermo buffering and complete insulation with quick dry are essential details to choose the right sock or garment; all these properties are incorporated in Rywan’s newest sock collection as well as in the latest base layers designed by Devold, both featuring Advansa ThermoCool eco2, dealing here with a more eco-responsible source,” Advansa explains.”

With sophisticated recycling technology, polymer based on post-consumer PET is transformed through state-of-the-art industrial processes into the same high quality polyester fibre qualified for use in socks and apparel into Advansa ThermoCool eco2. This, Advansa says results in no compromise on performance with a lower CO2 footprint.

Performance insulation

Well-known sports and outdoor brands offer their padded collections incorporating Advansa ThermoCool Performance Insulation. It aims to provide not just maximum warmth, but also a microclimate that reduces the adverse effects of perspiration and condensation while enhancing comfort.

Combinations of different type of fibres with proprietary engineered cross sections enable the well-designed collections to offer more than just warmth. “It helps to deal with the adverse consequences of perspiration, condensation and humidity inside the garment,” Advansa says.

“Simply put, when you’re hot and sweaty, the fibres breathe and transport moisture to cool you down. When you’re cold, the fibres trap heat but let moisture out so you stay both warm and dry – no matter whether for outdoor, ski or trekking enthusiasts.”

“Here, brands like Capranea, CMP, Haglöfs and Peak Performance, all specialized on maximum quality and functionality, have their latest padded ranges with Advansa ThermoCool Performance Insulation, highly technical, durable and well-performing apparel especially for endurance activities - the perfect combination for body temperature regulation.”

Base layers

Last but not least, base layer collections by Peak Performance and Devold are now featuring Advansa ThermoCool with Merino Wool which aims to fulfil the extreme requirements in terms of performance and durability: requirements that sportsmen need in demanding daily or sports activities.

“With the combination of the best properties of Merino Wool and Advansa ThermoCool, the fabrics bring together the warmth, natural and luxurious gentle touch with an outstanding functionality – all natural and functional for a great comfort,” Advansa concludes.
