Chinese cleaning textiles producer Suzhou Top Clean Co., Ltd acquired its first Karl Mayer TM 4 T tricot terry machine in December 2011 which was quickly followed by another with EL guide bar control in September 2012. The innovative fabrics produced on the machines are said to be creating a lot of interest on the international market.

According to the company, typical features of the products are that they are of exceptionally high quality and are used in a wide variety of applications and styles.

“By means of Karl Mayer’s machines we are able to further improve our product level and enhance our competitiveness,“ explained Zhu Rongfeng. “Our company is working closely with Karl Mayer. We not only benefit from Karl Mayer’s highly efficient machines but we also cooperate in the development and market introduction of new products. It is our main aim to extend our high-end segment, “said the Suzhou Top Clean managing director.

As far as cleaning textiles and terry fabrics are concerned, Suzhou Top Clean offers a range of solutions. The company was established in 2010 and is located in the Jiangsu Province and produces so called ‘fluffy’ fabrics made from microfiber for a wide range of applications.

Products include cloths, rags and hemp shoes for cleaning glass, cars, floors and suede. Additionally, the company also manufactures a range of fabrics for the cleaning mops, shower caps, table mats, and spa towels.

Altogether ten different kinds of superfine fibre warp knitted and weft knitted fabrics are included in the Suzhou Top Clean portfolio.

Suzhou Top Clean products are said to be soft, extremely absorbent and durable – but also have an attractive look. No matter whether lattice pattern or stripe pattern, 3D honeycomb designs or printed structures, the fashioning of the microfiber items, Karl Mayer says, provides everything that modern textile technology has to offer.

The factory covers an area of 6,000 square metres, operating with state-of-the-art machinery and at present the company has around 200 well-trained, experienced staff members and ten professional technicians.

Suzhou Top Clean offers a high in-house depth of production. From product development via warp preparation and fabric manufacture up to making-up and quality assurance, the entire production chain takes place in its own factory.

Products not just for the domestic market but are also intended for foreign customers. Main buyers of the microfiber knitted goods are Japan and Korea, but above all the economically powerful nations in Europe and USA, markets focusing on quality and innovation. In order to be able to cater for its customers’ high demands therefore, Suzhou Top Clean relies on high-tech machinery.
