Karl Mayer will be showing its latest warp knitting and warp preparation innovations at this summer’s Shanghaitex textile machinery exhibition which takes place from 10-13 June 2013 in Shanghai.

The leading German machine builder will be showing its latest developments in the lace and tricot machinery sectors and visitors will have the opportunity to see the high performance of Karl Mayer’s new 4-bar TM 4 EL tricot machine.

The newcomer completes Karl Mayer’s portfolio of TM models - so far, the successful machine series included the TM 2, TM 3, TM 4-T and TM 4-T EL.

The TM 4 EL is intended for the production of plain fabrics, being the counterpart of the TM 4-T EL in the 4-bar tricot machine range, which is designed for manufacturing terry articles and which will also be presented at ShanghaiTex.

The new TM 4 EL reaches operating speeds of up to 1400 rpm and is said to offer high productivity along with simple operation and first-class product quality. Karl Mayer says all of these features make the machine especially interesting for all those who want to manufacture garments but also semi-technical textiles and in particular shoe fabrics.

The standard working width of the new TM 4 EL is 186 inches and machine gauges are E 28 and E 32.

In addition to the 4-bar tricot machines, guests will also have the chance to take a look at innovations in Jacquard fabrics made on double needle bar Raschel machines.

Warping

Karl Mayer’s Warp Preparation business unit will be showing its new DSE 21/21 EC elastic warper.  This warper completes the German manufacturer’s offer of direct warping machines, being the price-performance-improved equivalent of the DSE-HH type.

Compared to the top-performance model, the DSE 21/21 EC produces beams with smaller maximum diameters and another outstanding feature is its performance, which is intended to satisfy the user’s basic requirements.

Along with for knitting warp preparation, Karl Mayer will also be presenting the efficiency of various yarn tensioners fitted to a demonstration creel, and the company will also display a SMS size box.
