The expert, offering the highest production capacity for elastic articles

The concept of machine type HKS 2-3 E is based on the outstanding features of an ‘expert’, being definitely the fastest 2-bar high performance tricot machine ever built. The knitting motion and the knitting elements are clearly designed for the production of purely elastic articles. This concept sets completely new standards in terms of production speeds and fabric qualities.

An important feature of the HKS 2-3 E is the fact that the rear ground guide bar (GB 2) is exclusively intended for elastane processing. Moreover, being equipped with an extra-fine compound needle system and especially designed knitting elements, this machine ensures the production of textiles showing a filigree and uniform loop appearance. This is also made possible by tailor-made fabric take-up and batcher executions.

As an optional extra, it is possible to fit the machine with an elastane security system (ESS) which prevents the jumping back of the elastane yarns. This system is recommended for the processing of thin elastane yarns and high machine gauges.

Type HKS 2-3 E is a clear competition advantage if articles made of elastic fabrics are a company’s key business: The HKS 2-3 E is an outstanding ‘specialist’, being a perfect combination between efficiency and precision.

Applications: Lingerie, sportswear, outerwear, swimwear and elastic tulles.
