Avery Dennison has officially opened a new joint venture facility with Shenzhou Group, one of the world’s largest vertically-integrated knitted garment manufacturers, in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The new entity, Avery Dennison Worldon Vietnam Joint Venture Company Limited, marks a significant step in both companies’ ongoing strategy to strengthen their positions in the apparel supply chain across Asia.
Located in the Dong Nam Industrial Park, the facility will manufacture a range of advanced apparel and digital identification solutions, including Embelex innovations and RFID technologies. These products are designed to support supply chain transparency, boost local production capabilities, and contribute to the modernisation of Vietnam’s textile sector.
“This partnership embodies our vision for a future-ready, sustainable apparel ecosystem,” said Michael Barton, senior vice president and general manager of Apparel Solutions at Avery Dennison. “By merging digital innovation with physical manufacturing, we are not only meeting today’s demands but also preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities.”
Mr Ma, executive chairman of Shenzhou Group, echoed the sentiment. “This venture builds on a trusted partnership with Avery Dennison. Together, we aim to accelerate innovation, operational agility, and responsible production that benefits brands, communities, and the wider textile ecosystem.”
The move supports regional economic efforts focused on industrial modernisation and sustainable development, reinforcing Avery Dennison’s long-term investment in Vietnam and its commitment to a more resilient and transparent global textile supply chain.
