Fibre producer contributes with an exciting exhibition area and participates in the debate about the future of sustainable fashion.

Italy based Fulgar, a world leader in the production of man-made fibres, presented its sustainable innovations at the recent White Sustainable Milano event, the fashion trade show linked to White and entirely dedicated to the research and development of new methods with the aim of achieving a concrete ecological transition.

A dedicated exhibition area provided an in-depth picture of the world of Fulgar and its firm commitment to an increasingly sustainable supply chain through the development and use of eco-friendly yarns like the latest new arrival, its innovative Q-CYCLE, obtained by recycling highly polluting post-consumption materials with end-of-life tyres.

For us, sustainability is a mission, and we believe it’s one of the key assets to drive development in the fashion textiles sector – Alan Garosi

For over ten years, Fulgar has been a leader in the field of sustainability and boasts an entire portfolio of green products. This aim of this constantly evolving mission is to offer consumers a rich, complete range of high-performance yarns combining quality, high technical content and sustainability. This is backed by an ongoing focus on improving and developing production processes for the textile supply chain, with the objective of working towards an increasingly circular economy.

During the event Alan Garosi, Head of Marketing at Fulgar, was one of the contributors to ‘Closing the Circle. Materials, Visions and ideas for sustainable fashion’, held on Friday 23rd September. The event, which enabled Alan to highlight Fulgar’s expertise in this sector, took the form of a discussion with other participants on the subject of the circular economy and recycling technology.

Alan Garosi told the Milan audience: “For us, sustainability is a mission, and we believe it’s one of the key assets to drive development in the fashion textiles sector. That’s why we’re constantly investing in R&D and valuable supply chain partnerships that offer the market products with innovative performance and enable us to play a role in the transformation of the increasingly circular supply chain.”
