Crystal International Group Limited has strengthened its commitment to sustainable apparel manufacturing by becoming a Partner Member of Textile Exchange, the global non-profit organisation driving positive environmental impacts across the fibre and materials industry. This strategic step aligns with the Group’s Crystal Sustainability Vision 2030, which focuses on climate action and circularity.

Over 90% of Crystal International’s factories have achieved sustainable material certifications, including the Global Recycled Standard and Organic Content Standard. At its vertically integrated fabric mill in Vietnam, around 55% of raw materials hold GRS or Recycled Claim Standard certification. Through Textile Exchange membership, the company aims to expand the adoption of preferred sustainable alternatives, joining over 800 other industry members in reducing environmental impact.

Building on its CirClimate collection of biodegradable, climate-adaptive fabrics from sustainable wood pulp and recycled waste, Crystal International continues to explore innovative fibre solutions. The group has also launched a Corporate Waste Management System Framework to systemise waste management across factories and support textile-to-textile recycling. Five factories have piloted sharing textile waste data on the Reverse Resources platform to improve traceability and transparency.

“Combining the tools established by Textile Exchange with our own expertise, we aspire to connect with pioneers and innovators to co-develop more nature-friendly fashion products through collective action,” said Catherine Chiu, Vice President – Corporate Quality & Sustainability at Crystal International.

Founded in 1970, Crystal International operates more than 20 manufacturing facilities across Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The Group produces lifestyle wear, sportswear, denim, intimates, sweaters, and knitted fabrics, serving leading global brands through a co-creation business model focused on quality, innovation, and sustainability.
