Desire for creativity at Première Vision China

The 15th edition of Première Vision China was held 31 March and 1 April 2011 at the Kunlun Hotel in Beijing. The twice-yearly event organized by Première Vision, brings together top fabric manufacturers with creative Chinese fashion professionals.

For this edition, dedicated to the spring summer 12 season, the club-like show welcomed 46 participants from six countries (France, Italy, Turkey, China, Japan, Spain) and registered 1765 visits by the close of the two days, an increase of 13.4% over the prior Beijing session.

“Participants and guests unanimously emphasised the quality of the discussions that took place as well as the excellent business climate at the event, and shared a desire for creative fashions. The particularly high-quality offer at Première Vision China presents a unique opportunity for the extremely professional and demanding Chinese fashion buyers, who are increasingly searching for more products to make the difference in their collections,” a spokesperson for Première Vision China said.

“Buyers expressed a real desire for fabrics with strong added-value, betting on a development of their investments for the future. Their choices are growing more affirmed; more refined, and are tending overall towards more and more fashion-focused, sophisticated, specialised and high-end products, which they now know they can find at the unique showcase provided by Première Vision China.”

“The Chinese market is in full expansion, with good growth in consumption and equally optimistic indicators for the years to come. Prospects for the future remain stimulating and propitious to create, together, ever more creative fashions.”

Première Vision fashion information at the show included the Colour Range, the Première Vision inspirational film and the season's Bests (an audiovisual synthesis of the colours and fabrics selected by international buyers during the previous Première Vision Paris show). The fashion seminar, tailored to the Chinese market and presented by Sabine Le Chatelier, is said to have met once again with marked success.
