Twine Solutions, an award-winning technology start-up, has named Delta Galil, a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label apparel products, as its first beta customer for its proprietary Digital Selective Thread Dyeing System and Solutions.

Delta Galil received its first digital dyeing system in June, and it will be used to support the company’s goals in developing new fabrics, products, finishing technologies and marketing concepts. Delta Galil will be using the new system to dye polyester yarn for sewing, knitting and embroidery.

The company leads the industry in technological innovation in textiles manufacturing, products and design, and says that Twine’s Digital Selective Treatment (DST) technology is the right match, which combines innovation with environmental responsibility.

“Known for its innovative mindset, it is only natural for Delta Galil to join forces and collaborate with Twine. This will enable Delta to bring its customers the most updated digital solutions for textiles, making sure they continue to be the market leaders in their field.

Constantly aware of the pulse of the marketplace, Delta Galil is dependent on leading apparel designers and retailers worldwide to help them introduce new products and innovative manufacturing solutions that answer consumer demands and help grow their market share,” commented Gil Shimon, President of Global Upper Market at DGI.

Twine Solutions was founded in 2015 in Israel. Twine’s system continuously dyes a single raw or off-the-shelf (white) thread to any requested length and in any colour, with a choice of millions of colours, shades, as well as colour gradients, the company reports.

According to the manufacturer, its technology aims to eliminate the need for coloured thread stock, dramatically reducing logistics, dead stock and other waste costs, as well as significantly reducing time to market. The company’s sustainable technology has also won a number of awards, including the Cleantech Open Global Competition.
