Italian knitted fabrics producer Eurojersey has been recognised as a Designer of the Year 2015 for beachwear by the Interfilière Paris &Capital de la Création.

The award, which has been presented during the latest Interfilière Paris trade fair that took place from 4-6 July, celebrates the Italian company’s international leadership of the textile industry for the production of patented warp knit Sensitive Fabrics.

Lightweight, breathable, versatile, with unique technical features and functionality Sensitive Fabrics are said to meet the most modern solid and printed trends and are the leading actors for the most exclusive and internationally appreciated collections, the company reports.

Innovative and creative

The company’s Sensitive Fabrics are said to be ideal for use in innovative games of body mapping and matching between different materials, using bonded and taping technology, bonding by cutting edge heat sealing technique that offers an extremely comfortable fitting thanks to an absence of stitching.

The latest application techniques, including contouring, laser cuts and flocking, expertly bring about the extraordinary performance of Sensitive Fabrics, according to the manufacturer.

Eurojersey is also a printing leader and trendsetter with innovations such as Ecoprint technology with its chromatic embossed effects and 3D Printing thanks to high definition designs with 3D effect.

Eurojersey

Founded in 1960, Eurojersey is well known for the high-performing characteristics of its warp-knitted Sensitive Fabrics, which are said to combine the unique qualities of inventiveness and Italian style. The company’s 35,000m2 factory has a single fully vertically integrated plant process from knitting to dyeing, from finishing to the final printing. It has an annual production capacity of 12 million metres of fabric.

According to the company, international underwear, swimwear, fashion and sportswear brands choose Sensitive Fabrics not just for its performances but also for the personality and style, which distinguishes Italian-made products.

The company claims its integrated production cycle allows reduced consumption of natural resources and to reduce the impact the production has on the environment. Through the SensitivEcoSystem programme Eurojersey involves clients and consumers in a project for eco-sustainable development, which follows the entire lifecycle of Sensitive Fabrics products.
