It is held at Fortezza da Basso, Florence. Fortezza da Basso is one of the biggest and most renowned exhibition and congress centres in Italy. Maredamare is held in the Spadolini Pavilion: an 11,000-square-metre area where both the fashion show area and the exhibition spaces are arranged within a common setting.

Each edition of Maredamare attracts 300 exhibiting brands, from the mid-high and high-end segments, representing Italian beachwear and underwear sectors.
