Heberlein, the leading supplier of air interlacing and air texturing jets, will present a series of new components at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025. These latest developments are designed to help filament yarn producers achieve specific quality standards, process optimisation and greater energy savings, combining advanced Swiss engineering with practical user benefits.
According to data in The Fibre Year 2024, synthetic fibres continue to outpace natural fibres, growing by 8.4% compared with 2.7%. This trend is particularly visible in fibre hubs such as China, India and Vietnam. Polyamide stands out with a notable 4.1% increase, highlighting its importance for future applications. At the forefront of these developments are Heberlein’s specialised components, which support both quality and efficiency in polyamide yarn production.
The company’s DTY jets remain a highlight. Following their debut at ITMA 2023, the APe series has been expanded with new types designed for polyamide with fine titres. Capable of achieving more than 200 knots per metre, these compact jets combine exceptional performance with efficiency, offering significant energy savings without compromising on yarn quality. Their design also supports sustainability goals by reducing compressed air consumption.
Heberlein’s air splicing solutions will also be featured. The newly developed AirSplicer-Basix was created for technical yarns such as aramid, glass and carbon. With a streamlined blow chamber design, the device enables easy insertion, splicing and removal of yarns while offering flexibility in splice strength and connection points. This balance of simplicity and performance makes it an effective tool for technical applications.
Meeting the requirements of synthetic yarn producers often demands specialist expertise. Heberlein’s engineers are known for their ability to reproduce yarns from samples or develop close alternatives to meet customer specifications while ensuring production efficiency and profitability. This ability to master challenging requests has long been a hallmark of the company.
Heberlein will welcome visitors at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore, Hall 4, Booth C113, where its experts will be on hand to discuss the new range of jets and splicers.
