Hyosung is set to present its latest sustainable and high-performance textile innovations at three major international trade events this summer: Future Fabrics Expo in London, Functional Fabric Fair in New York City, and Kingpins NYC. The company will showcase a broad portfolio of certified eco-friendly materials and advanced fibres designed for next-generation apparel.

At Future Fabrics Expo London, held from 24–25 June, Hyosung will unveil new iterations of its regen Bio Spandex – regen Bio+ and regen Bio Max – both made from renewable resources. The fibre offers significant sustainability gains, with third-party verified life cycle data indicating a 27% lower carbon footprint and 82% less ozone depletion compared to conventional spandex. Pangaia recently adopted regen Bio Max for its 365 Seamless activewear collection, reinforcing the fibre’s growing appeal among forward-thinking brands.

Hyosung’s booth will also highlight its circular polyester made from end-of-life textiles, developed in partnership with material science companies, reinforcing the company’s vision of a fully circular textile economy.

At Functional Fabric Fair NYC (22–23 July), Hyosung will present advanced performance fibres under its creora brand. These include Creora Rexy2 Nylon, with a glossy, silk-like sheen; and Creora EasyFlex Dyeable Spandex, designed for comfort, inclusivity, and size flexibility with superior retention and reduced grin-through. Visitors will see these fibres in action through a curated collection of concept garments developed by Hyosung’s Fashion Design Center.

At Kingpins NYC (23–24 July), Hyosung’s denim innovation takes centre stage. It will present its upgraded regen Bio Spandex range, RCS-certified 100% recycled regen Spandex, Creora 3D Max Spandex for improved recyclability, and Creora Slip Free Spandex for enhanced seam performance. As part of its ongoing support for the Kingpins Future Fit Forum, Hyosung will also sponsor seminars and collaborate with the Kingpins team on garment installations using deadstock Levi’s 501 denim and Hyosung fibres.

“By offering recycled, bio-based, and recyclable options, we can support the wide spectrum of sustainable strategies pursued by different brands,” said Simon Hong, Global Denim Marketing Director at Hyosung.
