Ramsay McDonald Pty Ltd, based in Melbourne, Australia, are seeking to recruit an experienced knitting programmer/technician for its Shima Seiki flat knitting machines department.

Skills and experience

Excellent programming and technical skills are required and WHOLEGARMENT experience is preferred. The ideal applicant will be an individual with creative flair, autonomous skills and excellent time management ability.

Duties

The successful applicant’s main duties will be to work with our extensive customer base as well as designers and industry leaders to create and program new and existing ranges.

Additional duties will include:

- Working through maintenance issues and troubleshooting technical machine problems

- Providing technical assistance in the sales of Shima Seiki knitting machines and Apex 3 design systems and parts
