Happy Socks, the trailblazing Swedish sock brand, and rock band Queen, are set to release a limited-edition collection for Spring/Summer 2020. The designs combine Queen’s greatest hits and each band member’s signature instrument with Happy Socks’ trademark colourfulness for a collection of styles “that invite fans of all ages to take the stage with them”.

We will sock you

“Behind every extraordinary band, there is a sea of extraordinary fans. True to Queen’s legacy as music and fashion pioneers, their greatest hits and signature instruments come together with Happy Socks’ colourfulness for a collection that invites you to take the stage with them,” the Swedish brand says.

The collection features six pairs of soft combed cotton crew socks and four pairs of children’s crew socks in organic combed cotton, all available as singles. The full selection for children is available as a 4-pack gift box.

“The crew socks come in two collectible gift boxes, the Signature 4-pack which highlights each member of the incredible quartet, and the 6-pack, featuring the full selection of styles. The prints pair elements and lyrics from the chart-topping songs We Will Rock You (Brian May), Bohemian Rhapsody (Freddie Mercury), Another One Bites the Dust (John Deacon), and Radio GaGa (Roger Taylor), with the signature instrument of its composer.

The Collector’s Edition 6-pack includes two additional styles that get the band back together,” Happy Socks adds.

Each pair features the members in concert, either as portraits or represented by their instruments of choice, and ‘Queen’ stitched on the cuff.

The Happy Socks x Queen collection has been available from 3 March 2020 in Happy Socks’ Concept Stores, online at www.happysocks.com  and at selected retailers.

In 2008, Mikael Söderlindh and Viktor Tell had a vision to bring happiness and colour to every corner of the world by turning an overlooked everyday essential into an outstanding design piece that combines quality, craftsmanship, and creativity. In short, Happy Socks. While all Happy Socks are still designed in the Stockholm-based atelier, they are now sold in over 95 countries through Happy Socks’ Concept Stores, at selected retailers.
