Lonati delegation attends inauguration of Alpin Socks HQ

A delegation from Italy’s Lonati Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of knitting machines for the hosiery sector, visited Alpin Socks in Turkey this week, for the inauguration of the company’s new headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey, in partnership with Decathlon.

Established in the year 2000, Alpin Socks is a specialist socks and tights manufacturer creating large ranges for men, women, children and babies. The company is one of the leading suppliers of socks in Europe with an average capacity of 9,000,000 pairs per month.

Alpin Socks produces a wide range of fashion lead socks and tights, casual heavy gauge socks, pelerine socks, true argyle socks, technical sports socks including running, trekking, general fitness, football, basketball, tennis, cycling, skiing plus compression socks. It has an in-depth technical background, large production capacity and experienced staff.

Turkish representation

Lonati recently announced its new representation in Turkey. The leading Brescia based company will now ne represented by highly respected textile machinery agent Tetaş.

“Regarding the Turkish market we are pleased to announce that Lonati SpA has decided to cooperate with Tetaş İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. Tetaş will be our partner in Turkey and follow all sales, after sales, installation, training, spare parts, and all other related activities,” Lonati said in a statement.
