Gambettes Box, the inventive Parisian brand, was launched less than ten years ago but it has already ‘conquered’ the European market with its original sales formula – tights in a box sold by subscription. Now the brand is extending its range of sustainable products, offering two pairs of tights with EVO by Fulgar yarn in its box of the month.

Encouraged by the success achieved by the green collection made with Fulgar’s Q-NOVA recycled polyamide, this year the brand has decided to take advantage of Fulgar’s green portfolio once again by choosing EVO, a yarn derived from sustainably cultivated castor oil seeds. The collaboration with Fulgar has resulted in two refined models, one with a stylised pois pattern and the other with mini-diamond shapes.

We’re delighted that a brand with such an original business model has come to us to help create an ecological capsule

“As well as causing changes in people’s behaviour, purchasing choices and lifestyles, the global pandemic has led to greater awareness among consumers, especially younger buyers. As a result, they are considering their choices more deeply and rewarding sustainable initiatives. We have to take this cultural change into consideration alongside fashion trends, and that’s why we’ve chosen to expand our green offer even further, turning once again to Fulgar to assist us in this choice,” said Sixtine Maroniez, Head of Product for Gambettes Box.

“We’re delighted that a brand with such an original business model has come to us to help create an ecological capsule,” commented Fulgar marketing manager Daniela Antunes. “Fulgar has a long-standing commitment to sustainability at all stages of the production process and promotes an increasingly green textile supply chain to provide consumers with accessible, high-quality products that respect the environment.”

Fulgar is an international leader in the synthetic fibre sector, producing and distributing nylon 6.6 and covered elastomers in the textile and technical fabric sectors. Launched in the late 1970s at Castel Goffredo (Mantova), in Italy's hosiery region, Fulgar has carved out a position as sector leader on the international scene, confirming its international approach with new production centres and installations. Over the past ten years the company’s investment in R&D has seen constant growth. A commitment to environmental issues has also contributed to its success, expressed through projects and initiatives involving the entire production chain and sustainable products like Q-Nova regenerated yarn or bio-based Evo yarn.

Fulgar is present in all sectors of the textiles industry, from hosiery to circular knits, intimate wear, beachwear and sportswear, offering excellent products that stand out for their quality and uniqueness, while always respecting Made in Italy textile tradition. The company’s versatility is the result of design, development and manufacturing processes, which also provide a response to client demand in the context of use and comfort.

Fulgar is the exclusive distributor in Europe and Turkey of the Lycra Fibre, Lycra T400 and Elaspan Fibre brands. In 2012 Fulgar also forged a partnership with the Solvay group, becoming distributor and producer of Emana fibre, Amni Soul Eco and Q-Skin powered by AMNI VIRUS-BAC OFF mainly for Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
