It’s official. The French government has confirmed that professional events such as trade fairs can take place starting on 1 September 2020, as the country’s borders gradually reopen. Meanwhile, trade show organiser Eurovet has confirmed that Interfilière Paris will take place on 6 and 7 (Sunday & Monday) of September at Porte de Versailles – Hall 4, Paris.

“Since current conditions do not allow for exhibitors from the four corners of the world to come together, this event will take on a more European dimension, and will be designed as a new type of space in time,” Eurovet said in a statement.

“It will be a ‘Get-Together’ that will aim to inform and provide a forum for discussions and a place to restart business for the Lingerie X Swim X Sport sector. The famous Trend Forum will also be at the very heart of this physical event.”

A new digital GRIP platform from Eurovet will extend and further develop the in-person event by providing live digital solutions such as matchmaking, one-on-one meetings, trend analysis, intelligent business connections, content, and more. This will allow the Interfilière community to stay connected on a global level through 30 September.

“Each one of you remains at the heart of what we do, and we already can’t wait to see you again in September,” said Marie-Laure Bellon, CEO at Eurovet.

Eurovet has also confirmed that Riviera x Who’s Next will run from 4-7 September.

“Stronger Together, such has been our motto during these months in lockdown,” Eurovet explains. “This is why we have decided to focus on synergy and unite our forces by partnering with the Who’s Next fashion trade show taking place from Friday, 4 September through 7 Monday 2020.

In Hall 3 at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center, alongside ready-to-wear brands, a ‘beautiful space’ will be devoted to swimwear, resortwear, and summer accessories brands presenting their Summer 2021 collections.

“The new VIMEET platform from Who’s Next will offer all industry stakeholders a chance to connect to the event remotely. The digital solution will complement the in-person event, thus offering a multitude of new business opportunities to relaunch the industry,” Eurovet concludes.
