Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition will return to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from 2–4 September 2025, continuing its legacy as one of the most influential trade fairs for the global textile and apparel industry.
Following a successful 30th anniversary in 2024, which drew nearly 4,000 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors, the show is building strong momentum. The 2025 Spring Edition sustained this growth, attracting nearly 95,000 visitors from 131 countries and regions—up 17% year-on-year. The Autumn 2025 fair will again serve as a vital bridge between international suppliers and forward-looking buyers.
Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, highlighted the fair’s continued evolution: “Our focus on innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability reinforces our commitment to preparing the industry for the future. With zones such as the Digital Solutions Zone, Premium Wool Zone, and Verve for Design, we’re offering avenues to stay current and competitive in a rapidly shifting landscape.”
The Digital Solutions Zone, a fast-growing highlight of the show, will once again feature technologies like AI-driven demand forecasting, digital product passports, and 3D virtual sampling that cuts fabric waste by up to 30%. Exhibitors such as Shima Seiki, Quaternion, and Symmpix are leveraging the platform to connect with buyers seeking transformative solutions.
China’s status as a hub for custom clothing production continues to elevate demand for high-end fabrics. The Premium Wool Zone and the Milano Unica Pavilion will return with top-tier European mills including Abraham Moon & Sons, E.Thomas, and Albini showcasing luxury materials tailored for the Chinese market.
Design remains at the heart of Intertextile Apparel, with Verve for Design offering a focal point for original patterns and prints. Studios from Japan, the UK, and Argentina will meet with Chinese and global fashion brands in search of creative, sustainable inspiration.
The fair is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT), and the China Textile Information Centre. It will be held alongside Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC, and PH Value, covering the full apparel supply chain.
