Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, set for 2–4 September 2025, will return to the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai amid growing momentum within China’s textile sector. Official figures show that from January to April 2025, textile companies with annual main business revenue above USD 2.8 million achieved a 4.2% year-on-year rise in value-added output, with industry-wide sales reaching over USD 890 billion—a 5.9% increase. The show aims to harness this growth through an international showcase of sustainable innovation and forward-thinking design.
Attracting exhibitors from China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Türkiye, the UK and beyond, the event continues to be a vital meeting point for industry professionals seeking to enter or expand in the Chinese market.
A blend of heritage and eco-conscious practices will be highlighted at the fair. UK-based Abraham Moon & Sons will showcase traceable British wool fabric in collaboration with British Wool and the Campaign for Wool. Alumo AG from Switzerland will present GOTS and SteP by OEKO-TEX certified cotton and linen shirtings, while Japan’s SOALON Corporation will promote triacetate fibres made from FSC-certified raw materials under bluesign-compliant processes.
Building on the success of previous editions, the Innovation and Digital Solutions Zone will return with a wider range of digital technologies. Hong Kong’s AiDLab will unveil AiDa, an AI-powered assistant for generating original fashion designs. Avery Dennison will demonstrate smart labels and RFID-enabled supply chain tools, while HKRITA will highlight its AI-powered system for garment sorting and recycling.
Design remains a central theme. Fidlock GmbH from Germany will bring its magnetic fasteners to the accessories market. Kipas from Türkiye will show environmentally conscious denim innovations created in collaboration with Archroma and Jeanologia. France’s Les Dessinés will display playful, hand-drawn prints created for international fashion houses.
Buyers can enhance their sourcing journey through Connect PLUS, a digital platform offering AI-driven matchmaking, scheduling features, and multi-channel communication tools including WeChat and SMS. Pre-registered visitors receive automatic access.
The fair is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT), and the China Textile Information Centre. It will be held alongside Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC and PH Value, covering the full apparel value chain under one roof.
