Brandix named Exporter of the Year

Leading Sri Lankan apparel maker wins award for seventh time.

Leading apparel producer Brandix has won Sri Lanka’s ‘Exporter of the Year’ award for the seventh time.

“We’re proud to be recognised as the ‘Exporter of the Year’ for the 7th time, winning the Award for 2019/20 at the 25th Presidential Export Awards 2019/20 and 2020/21, organised by the Export Development Board,” the company posted on social media this weekend.

Brandix’ other awards for this period include ‘Contributor from the Regions to the Export Supply Chain’, ‘Best Performing Exporter in Emerging Markets’ and the Sectoral Award for ‘Best Exporter Award – Apparel – Large Category’.

“For 2020/21, we secured the Overall Award for ‘Contributor from the Regions to the Export Supply Chain’ award. We attribute this win to every member of our 60,000 family of Inspired People for their collective effort that cemented our position as the highest contributor to the national economy across all categories of exports for seven years,” Brandix said.

“Our hearty congratulations to our partners InQube Global and Teejay Lanka for their inspiring success at the Presidential Exports Awards as well.”
