The ISPO team continues to showcase what is possible when the global sports and outdoor industry moves forward together. Under the guiding theme “From Maze to Movement”, ISPO 2025 presents change not as disruption, but as purposeful progression. With more than 100 start-ups, a 20% increase in ticket sales, and an expanded conference programme, innovation and collaboration are taking centre stage once again.
ISPO has long been a meeting point where the future of sport takes shape. Established global brands meet emerging innovators, creating opportunities that extend well beyond the trade show floor. New initiatives such as the Retail Club and House of Content highlight how sport, lifestyle, technology and culture intersect, reflecting a growing understanding of movement as a mindset rather than a mere physical activity.
The first stage of this new era will be unveiled in Munich on 30 November 2025, marking a milestone in ISPO’s transformation. But the evolution does not stop there. Building on Munich’s success, ISPO will expand internationally, with the next chapter taking place in Amsterdam from 3–5 November 2026. The Dutch capital’s reputation for openness, creativity and cross-border collaboration provides the perfect foundation for strengthening ISPO’s global influence.
To realise this vision, Messe München and Raccoon Media Group have formed a joint venture (JV) to manage future operations. Under the leadership of Managing Directors Michael Andrew Seaman and James Douglas Emslie, the JV will oversee ISPO 2026 and beyond, ensuring the event remains at the forefront of innovation and serves as the central hub for the global sports, outdoor and winter industries.
“Change is not disruption. It’s direction,” sums up ISPO’s commitment to continuous progress. Since its inception in 1970, ISPO has acted as a catalyst for industry innovation and community engagement. The move to Amsterdam signifies a more streamlined, international, and forward-focused format, shaping the way the sports industry connects, collaborates, and grows.
More details on ISPO 2026 and its new event formats will be announced soon at www.ispo.com and in the Rebooking Lounge at Hall B1 during ISPO 2025.
