The Singapore edition of ITMA ASIA + CITME concluded on 31 October 2025 after a four-day run at the Singapore Expo, marking a highly successful return to the city-state following earlier editions in 2001 and 2005.

The combined exhibition drew over 26,600 visitors from 109 countries and regions, reaffirming its status as the region’s most influential showcase for textile and garment manufacturing technologies. Around 92% of attendees came from overseas, with 35% from South Asia and 30% from Southeast Asia. India, China, and Indonesia were the top three visitor countries, followed by Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Organisers CEMATEX, the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), and CCPIT TEX attributed the strong attendance to Singapore’s strategic location, efficient infrastructure, and favourable business environment. “Exhibitor feedback has been very positive as the high-quality visitorship and serious business discussions are greatly appreciated,” said Alex Zucchi, President of CEMATEX. “The exhibition has created a strong sense of optimism about opportunities ahead amid current economic challenges.”

CTMA President Gu Ping noted that the success of the 2025 event reflected Asia’s dynamic growth as the world’s largest textile hub. “The Asian textile industry, spanning East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, is developing rapidly and attracting increasing global interest,” he said.

Exhibitors echoed these sentiments. Tobias Schaefer, Vice President of Andritz Nonwoven & Textile, described the event as a “pivotal platform bringing together a remarkably international audience”. Stephane Picard of Pierret Industries and Kaan Cakici of Canlar Mekatronik both highlighted the high quality of visitors and promising business outcomes achieved during the show.

The exhibition, which occupied more than 70,000 square metres, featured over 840 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions. The event also hosted the ITMA Sustainability Forum, where Rohit Kansal, Additional Secretary of India’s Ministry of Textiles, led a 30-member delegation and emphasised the nation’s focus on innovation and sustainability.

Organised by ITMA Services and co-organised by Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Company, the next ITMA ASIA + CITME will take place in Shanghai, China, from 20 to 24 November 2026.
