Jersey Lomellina, an Italian specialist in the production of stretch circular knitted fabrics is   celebrating its latest innovation. The Northern Italy based company’s Renew family of ‘eco-sustainable’ fabrics has expanded to welcome Renew Rock, the new Ottoman rib structure featuring horizontal ribs and a ‘green eco-friendly soul’.

Renew Rock is made from Aquafil’s Econyl regenerated Nylon yarn, which is produced from both pre and post-consumer materials such as ghost fishing nets, carpet fluff and tulle materials which have reached the end of their useful life.

Renew Rock is said to have a really pleasant hand feel and good stretch characteristics – offering perfect fit and ideal for the creation of comfortable, long lasting, strong and stylish beachwear. “It’s lively and catchy colour palette makes it look young and elegant but also extremely fashionable,” says Jersey Lomellina.

“Comfortable and non-see through, Renew Rock is also suitable for sportswear, for the creation of inserts enhancing muscular support and elasticity,” the company concludes.
