Karl Mayer, the leading warp knitting machine manufacturer, has exhibited its new TM 4 TS EL terry warp knitting machine for processing spun yarns, a new model of HKS 4-M, and the MJ 59/1 S Jacquardtronic Lace machine with a special configuration at ShanghaiTex trade fair for textile machinery that took place from 15-18 June in Shanghai.

The company’s stand in the Knitting & Hosiery Machinery Zone was eye-catching, even from some distance away. Huge lights made from textile-covered tubes poured light in an alternating play of colours onto an 600m2 area where the machines, décor islands, partitioned areas for holding discussions, and meeting points were all located.

The stand, with its exclusive anthracite colour scheme stood out effectively from the mainly white stands of the other exhibitors – a futuristic design that was saying: high-tech systems are on show here, the company reports.

On display

The manufacturer was showing the new TM 4 TS EL terry warp knitting machine for processing spun yarns, an HKS 4-M with an even better cost:benefit ratio than the previous model, and the MJ 59/1 S – a Jacquardtronic Lace machine with a special bar configuration. Karl Mayer was also showing its sizing technology for the warp preparation sector.

The company experienced a great interest from visitors, who came to Karl Mayer’s stand to learn more about the latest technologies, as well as to get an insight into how to open up new business fields and expand their position on the market.

An open-house event held at Karl Mayer (China) on the second day of the fair was showcasing more market-oriented production technology. Karl Mayer’s subsidiary in Changzhou City was hosting a machine show and demonstrating two double-bar raschel machines, the RD 7/2-12 EN and the RDJ 5/1. An MJ 59/1 B, with a working width of 210", was also demonstrating its performance features.
