Brückner Textile Technologies GmbH & Co. KG, a global leader in textile machinery manufacturing, has announced the opening of its own subsidiary in India, effective 1 June 2025. The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategic growth, reinforcing its presence in one of the world’s most important textile markets.

Having been represented in India since 2007 by Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Ltd (formerly Voltas), Brückner has established a strong foothold in the region with the support and expertise of its long-standing local partner. This collaboration has played a crucial role in developing the company’s brand and expanding its customer base across India.

“We could not have imagined a better partner in the Indian market and are very grateful to Universal for their support and constant guidance over nearly 20 successful years,” said Regina Brückner, owner and CEO of the Brückner Group.

India’s vibrant and expanding textile sector presents significant opportunities for Brückner, both through increasing domestic demand and the region’s potential for innovation. The launch of Brückner Textile India Private Limited is seen as a natural progression following years of growing sales and customer relationships.

“India is a key market for the textile industry and offers many opportunities for us,” continued Regina Brückner. “The new branch enables us to be even closer to our customers.”

The company looks forward to deepening its commitment to the Indian market in the years ahead, with the new office set to serve as a hub for customer engagement, technical support, and continued innovation.
